Webinar on Teaching Safety Skills to Children with Autism
Psychologist Bridget Taylor, a board-certified behavior analyst, will discuss skills and techniques to keep children with autism safe during this webinar, which is sponsored by SPARK. The webinar will address safety concerns such as wandering away, and responding to strangers. Dr. Taylor is cofounder and executive director of Alpine Learning Group, a school for students with autism. An expert on behavior, she has published research articles and book chapters on effective interventions for autism.
Dr. Taylor holds a Psy.D. in psychology from Rutgers University and an M.A. in early childhood special education from Columbia University. The webinar will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. EDT.
